The Redtenbacher's Funkestra is known for original and instrumental wall-to-wall Jazz Funk featuring horn sections. For the past 2 years they have also acted as the 'studio house band' for the Masterlink Sessions. This is where the musical journey with Jade Like The Stone started. An artist who sits in the Blues Rock corner with psychedelic elements joining forces with the band - resulting in recording enough material for an album. This is their 3rd single recorded 100% live at Masterlink Productions studio.

Lightning is about being connected to someone in your life that completely ‘electrifies’ the very ground you walk on. That someone that can influence your entire outlook on the world. It’s the sense of the power of the human, of the imperfections, the journey of development.
It’s about the relationship between you and your partner and their relationship with the ‘world’ and the need to shape it in how they see fit.
Their own guide book and principles, outside of society and law.
Their reactions to this constantly changing yet stagnant society, can ‘strike’ at any point, just like those ‘sudden violent sounds’ that tear through the sky during a Lightning strike.
